The Lady of the Gift
"The Lady of the Gift brings a message of tithing. To be your Ally, she requires you to look at the nature and method of your giving to others. The world is your church, and you only need to distribute 10 percent of wealth to others to ensure that the flow continues.
Yet this doesn't necessarily mean giving money away, nor does it imply a direct action of charity, even though the tradition is material. In fact, the kind of tithing the Lady asks of you isn't tangible or material at all. She's asking you to look at all human beings as important in the Divine scheme of things and show others that you believe in them. Pay attention to how you treat people; and be mindful of your perception, even of seemingly "poor" strangers. If you see others as successful and abundant, and act as if they have value, blessings all around are assured. Your belief in others has greater value than you could fathom. This alone guarantees your success long-term. Remember that you can only keep what you're willing to give."
The synchronicity of this reading with today's celebration of the Divine Feminine is so beautiful. Today, and every day, we honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother Mary, Kwan Yin, Green Tara, and the spirit of mercy, compassion, gentle protectiveness, truth, and righteousness. In the spirit of the Divine Mothers, The Lady of the Gift has come to us to remind us to remain in a constant state of gleeful giving! Sometimes it will be material and helping out a friend or family member, or donating to a worthy cause. Sometimes it will be feeding a stray animal or watering a withering plant. Sometimes it will be picking up trash you see, even if it's not yours. There are so many ways and means to give. But – AT ALL TIMES – we must transmit (give) the energy of love to all people, especially the seemingly poor, those who most of society has deemed as undesirable.
When you look into the eyes of a person, no matter their color, creed, faith, social status, economic bracket, or state of health – see yourself. Rise to the level of Oneness Consciousness that does not allow you to distinguish yourself from another person, or from the Earth, or the heavens, or the deities, the angels, the unseen realms, or the Almighty Creator. Do not accept duality! Accepting duality prevents showing true mercy and compassion. The world we see today has accepted the notion that life forms and people are separate – that is why it's so easy to invade, oppress, and destroy people, animals, and plant life. Believe in yourself and the power of the Divine inside you – the power to Will a new world into existence. Every time a person reaches this level of awareness, we are closer to Oneness – closer to bringing Heaven to Earth – that will be the gift that is returned to you.
This is the purpose of the rise and return of the Divine feminine – to restore balance and peace to the Earth. Be a part of the mission by sharing your love and wisdom with everyone you meet. Blessed Be.
